This morning of April 3rd, 2024, the US President Joseph Biden has approved a bill to enable Veteran Status for those in the USA who have served as Super Earth Helldivers at the operations of Malevelon Creek.
The bill is passed through American Congress and Senate and will grant the benefits that the Veteran Status enables, alongside those who have served in Vietnam and World War II, to all those US citizens who have survived the Massacre of Malevelon Creek of 2024. In addition to this new bill, Joe Biden has declared April 3rd, alongside Super Earth’s President, as the Malevelon Creek Memorial Day, and expects all the International Community to do the same, as other nations in said International Community had also veterans who have served in the Malevelon Creek fields as well.
“This is an important day in Super Earth history" Joe Biden spoke this morning at a press conference at the White House, “many lives have been lost in Malevelon Creek this year against the tyranny of the Automaton forces, and ignoring the impact that loss of life has had on America’s life is a grave mistake. We shall not only remember those who have fallen sacrificing their lives at the Creek, but also those who have survived with the scars of battle the hardships of said battle.” Afterwards, the President of the United States has dedicated 3 full minutes of silence in memory of those who have sacrificed their lives at Malevelon Creek.
Helldivers 2 is more than just a game; for many it has been a battle at two fronts and an important contention point in worldwide military politics, even at Super Earth. The war against the Automatons and Terminids had millions of casualties, and the memory of those who fought against the Automaton and Terminid menace will not be lost.
