Is The Internet Historian a Nazi?

The Internet Historian is a New Zealand based youtuber who makes Comedic video’s recounting moments in Internet History. He is insanely popular, go to the YouTube channel of any react streamer and you are guaranteed to find dozens of his videos. But is this fame deserved…

Internet Historian was cast into the spotlight when he was accused of plagiarism by popular youtuber Hbomberguy. Internet Historian was accused of plagiarising an article made by the website Mental Floss about a man named Floyd Collins who got stuck in a cave in 1925, Copying the article’s script verbatim for his own video “Man in Cave“.

Naturally this would result in Internet Historians video being taken down. Internet Historian was hesitant to say why the video was missing, instead leaving his fans to there own devices to figure out why the video disappeared. One viewer noticed that the Video was taken down at the request of Pro Sportority, The parent company of Mental Floss who happen to be based out of Israel. This caused His fans to begin making ““Ironic““ Anti-Semitic comments about this revelation.

This development would inspire the folk over at R/YoutubeDrama to go through Internet Historians back catalogue of videos looking for potential ties to the Alt-Right that could explain why this happened.

One thing that’s worth noting right off the bat, IH has a habit of painting 4Chan as the good guys in whatever story he’s telling. Even in situation's like “Pool’s closed“ where 4Chan raided Habbo Hotel, a browser game made for children, dressing up like black caricatures, forming Swastikas with their characters and blocking people from accessing the hotel’s pool.

When they rightfully got banned from the game they then began targeting pool’s in real life, calling in and making up lies about the pool being infected with AID’s, causing them to close. During one of these call’s IH add’s B-roll from one of these raids where one Raider’s can be seen saying “Hitler did nothing wrong“, Another Raider seen in the clip had “KFC[N-Word]“ as his username.

He also did a video about how 4chan attempted to Hijack the “Dub the Dew“ poll to nominate various anti-Semitic and otherwise offensive name’s. At one point hacking the Mountain Dew website to post an Anti-Semitic message accusing Jewish people of committing the 9/11 terrorist attack.

This RickRoll is somehow the least insulting thing I’ve seen today

When Mountain Dew took down the poll and chose a generic name 4Chan opened a Change.org petition accusing Mountain Dew of partaking in “Un-American“ activity and infringing on there Quote-unquote “Freedom of Speech”. Ironically, saying that a Fascist dictator was innocent is quite possibly the most un American thing I can think of. The Petition was a failure and only received 70 signatures.

Another Example of IH painting Conservatives and 4Chan in a positive light is in “The Bikelock Fugitive of Berkley“ A video that discusses How 4Chan tracked down an Antifa member named Eric Clanton who assaulted an opposing protester with a Bikelock.

In this video the opening scene describes the confrontation as if it’s a PvP battle between rival World of Warcraft guilds. With the Conservatives being portrayed as the Alliance, who are the good faction in WoW. And Antifa being portrayed as the Horde, the evil Faction.

There are several thing’s to note in this opening scene. Firstly Hitler’s birthday is listed down as a holiday on the calendar at (0:02), Secondly at (0:09) several of the Antifa members have Pronouns as their guild names and finally at (0:55) we see the item description of Eric’s Bikelock, the Durability Reading “14/88“. One of the Conservative protesters at (0:07) also has 1488 in his username.

There are no item’s in World of Warcraft that have exactly 88 points of durability, so this edit was intentional.

On the Topic of Birthdays, when Internet Historian was invited onto famous birthday’s he put his Birthday down as April 20th 1989, Which would be the 100 year anniversary of Hitler’s Birthday. This is not true, in reality he was actually born at some point between 1990 and 1992 according to WikiTubia. When he was questioned about this he denied any wrongdoing, Typical.

There also blatant Anti-Semitic jokes in some of his video’s. For example in “My Immortal (1/3)“ When the script says the protagonist put’s on a pentagram necklace, they instead put on a necklace that has the Star of David on it.

This is based on the completely ludicrous claim that Judaism is somehow linked with Satanism.

Internet Historian has also used the R-Slur on multiple occasions and He support’s and collab’s with many problematic internet personalities. He did a video on his second channel guest starring JonTron, A youtuber who was removed from his Voice Roll in Yooka-Laylee following comments he made regarding immigration.

He’s also liked Tweet’s from Problematic user’s such as Ron Desantis, Lib’s of TikTok and Babylon Bee. He also did a bit during a NordVPN ad where he reacts to the Daily Wire’s adaptation of Snow White.

On that note the outfit IH wears in these Ad’s bears a striking resemblance to a KKK uniform.
