Bella Ciao Saga is a Minecraft roleplay (RP) server project for a diversity of content creators, big or small, of socio-political focus, which promotes ideas of anarchism and an anarchist commune society, at the same time of interpreting other sets of ideologies. The purpose of this Minecraft server is creating an interesting story that passes through multiple socio-political conflicts, solidarity values and mutual aid, and other socio-political plots.
This server is private, and we select the most select content creators and streamers of any size that best adjust to the purpose of this server. If roleplay is something you like and you generate content either on YouTube or Twitch or any other similar video streaming platform, this is your place.
The story
Abandoned to their luck after being exiled, a band of settlers of diverse nations is found in the coastal town of Ivarsk, where they have to use their wits and strengths to settle an anarchist commune in the town. By chance, the members of the settler band belong to a great variety of ideologies, from which there are even anarcho-communists, anarcho-syndicalists among others. Barely do they know each other, but they’ll have to collaborate or face each other, to form a new civilization.
The server will open its gates on november 5th 2021 at 6:00 PM CEST (Madrid time)
Rules, bases, etc.
This server won’t tolerate, firsthand, diverse hate speech, homophobia, transphobia, racism, or other disrespect to other players. One thing is to pretend to be of one ideology but another is believing in that ideology unironically, especially a harmful one. We take into consideration the safety of content creators to avoid breaking the terms of service and community guidelines of different platforms.
We don’t permit griefing/trolling other players or the server unless justified by the roleplay plot (infractions include RDM, etc). It’s understandable that in the plot there might be wars that require the destruction of buildings or PVP, but if it doesn’t fit in the story that can come out, it has no place here.
To enter the server, we manually select content creators according to personal preference, but as standard. we prefer content creators with an average of 10 minimum viewers on YouTube, Twitch or any platform or that have a minimum of 500 followers on social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc). We reserve the right to allow or disallow certain content creators on this server.
Any incident related to the server (rule infraction, etc) must be notified to JMAA privately, either by Discord, email, Twitter or similar, with all possible details.
This server has permadeath. If you die on this server, it’s over. You cannot play ever again. This enables the deaths of players or characters to be more dramatic.
Abuse of OOC (out of context) dialog is not allowed, but if it’s needed, will be done through text chat instead of voice chat, with double parentheses: ((text goes here))
Voice chat must be used for any communication in roleplay context. It is recommended to use Push To Talk, and changing the keybind for Push To Talk, even if as default it is Caps Lock.
It may be possible that we haver to pick your content on YouTube or Twitch to create promotional videos, plot rundowns, etc with your permission. For that we rely on clips or videos that you generate in the video platforms as material, while we have your explicit permission.
It is not necessary to use unique character names, all players will refer themselves as the name they have on YouTube, Twitch, or Minecraft. We can also refer to others as their real name, without doxing someone’s real identity, if appropriate.
It is necessary to promote the server through a link to http://jmaa.tv/bella-ciao-saga in the video descriptions or Twitch or YouTube livestreams.

What do I need
Download GDLauncher and the Bella Ciao Saga pack
Open GDLauncher and enter with the Minecraft account (Mojang or Microsoft)
Click on the + icon of GDLauncher.
Click on “Import Zip” on top and import the Bella Ciao Saga zip file without uncompressing it.
The installation of all necessary Minecraft files and mods will begin.
Option 2
If you want to do it yourself, download Forge 37.0.59 and Simple Voice Chat 1.1.0, both for Minecraft 1.17.1.
We also recommend using if possible OptiForge + OptiFine with your favorite shader pack!
